Who we are

Memorial Media Links is a service of Memorial Media Services (“we”, “us”). These terms apply to this website, to the memorial pages hosted on it, and to the plaques, keepsakes and services we sell. By using the site or placing an order you agree to them.

What we provide

A memorial package includes a stainless steel QR plaque, memorial keychains, and a memorial page hosted on this site for the hosting term stated on the package. The page opens when the plaque’s code is scanned or its link is visited. Keepsakes and services are described on their own pages; the description at the time of ordering is what applies.

Your account

You need an account to build a memorial page. Keep your password private; you are responsible for what is done through your account. Tell us straight away if you believe someone else has used it.

Memorial content

Everything you add to a memorial page — photographs, text, video links and service details — stays yours. You give us permission to store it, display it to the people who visit the page, and make the copies needed to host it (for example, resized images). You confirm that you have the right to publish what you upload, including the consent of people shown in photographs where the law requires it.

We may remove content that is unlawful, that infringes someone else’s rights, or that is abusive, and we may suspend an account used that way. We will tell you when we do, unless the law prevents it.

Guest book

Visitors may leave messages and photographs on a memorial page that has the guest book enabled. The owner of the memorial chooses whether messages are approved before they appear, and can remove any message. By posting, a visitor gives the same permission for their message that owners give for their content.

Public and unlisted pages

A public memorial page can be found by anyone, including search engines. An unlisted page is not submitted to search engines and only opens for people who scan the plaque or receive the link; it is not password-protected. Choose the setting that suits your family.

Orders, prices and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars and are the prices in effect when you order. Where online payment is available, payment is taken at checkout; otherwise we contact you to complete payment before we make the plaque. Plaques and keepsakes are made to order for a specific memorial and ship within the window stated at checkout. Ownership of a plaque passes to you when it is delivered.

Hosting term and maintenance plans

Each package states its hosting term and, where applicable, the period during which photographs and video links can be added. When a hosting term ends, the page can be kept online with an annual maintenance plan. A page without active hosting may be archived; we will make reasonable efforts to reach the email address on the account before that happens.

Cancellations and problems with an order

Because plaques and keepsakes are made for a specific memorial, we cannot accept returns once production has begun. If something arrives damaged or wrong, contact us within 14 days of delivery and we will put it right. Questions about a refund are handled case by case — please contact us.

Affiliate program

Funeral homes and other partners may apply to our affiliate program. The commission rates, referral window and payout rules are set out on the program page and form part of these terms for approved affiliates.

Our responsibility

We will provide the service with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss caused by events outside our control, for content added by you or by visitors, or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed; continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
